Some privacy laws give people the right to tell a website not to sell or share their personal information. At Pulse News Update, the answer is simple: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or tracking. There is nothing you need to opt out of, but we want to explain what that means in practice.
What we don’t do
- We don’t run advertising, so there are no ad networks receiving data about you.
- We don’t use analytics or tracking cookies that build profiles of your reading.
- We don’t sell, rent or trade email addresses or any other data.
- We don’t have accounts, so there is no profile of you on our servers.
What stays on your device
A few features store information in your own browser: bookmarks, theme choice, desk preferences and any email address you entered in a newsletter form before the newsletter launches. This data never leaves your device through our site. You control it completely.
How to clear it
- Open your Profile page and use the button to clear everything stored by Pulse on this device.
- Or open your browser settings, find site data or cookies, and remove data for pulsenewsupdate.com.
- If you use several browsers or devices, repeat on each one, since data is stored separately.
Third-party resources
Like most websites, ours loads fonts, a styling library and some images from external providers. Those providers receive basic technical information when your browser requests files, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not ask them to track you or sell data on our behalf.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or similar signal, we treat it as a request not to sell or share your information. Because we already don’t, the signal requires no further action on our part, but we respect it in any future feature we build.
Questions
If you have questions or want us to delete any email correspondence you have sent us, write to [email protected]. We will reply and confirm what we have done.
