Explosive New Claims Emerge Over George’s Love Island Exit — And The Reason Fans Think Was Hidden
A LOVE Island star was kicked out the villa after using an offensive slur – and tried to cover it up.
George Knight, 27, left the current series of the ITV dating show after six days and told The Sun he’d taken the decision after learning worrying health news about an immediate family member.

But we can now reveal that story – whilst true – was used to mask another reason for his exit.
George was formally warned for using “unacceptable language” in the villa and was sent packing.
At the same time the footballer from Winchester received the news from home.
ITV told at the time George had left for “private reasons” but there is no suggestion the broadcaster worked to cover up his behaviour.
The channel said: “We have a duty of care towards George and as such will not be commenting further.”
A source today said: “The situation for George hasn’t been easy, coming out of the villa earlier than expected and returning home to a very difficult family time.”
The lad, who plays for Dorking Wanderers, left the show on Thursday June 4 and was interviewed on The Sun’s Showbiz Fix podcast the following Tuesday.
Sharing his version of events, he claimed: “I was expecting just to receive a usual question, like ask how I’m doing or what’s the plan for the day.
“And they just said that one of the producers on site was going to meet me at the front door and that they had some information for you and the execs wanted to see you.
“And I was thinking, oh God, what could this be about? Once the execs put you in, you don’t see them again, really.

“They said that my parents had been in touch and that they had some news for me and that they were going to give me a call.
“It is all very private. But it was a health concern with a member of the immediate family.
“They said they felt like they weren’t doing their role as a parent if they didn’t let me know.
“And with what was said, I just felt like it was the right thing to come home.”
That weekend George shared a photo online with his sister and their dog and wrote: “Family comes first, always.”
He added that he left for “private family reasons”.
Of the interview, he added: “Obviously people are gonna speculate, but that’s why I’m doing this. The truth is always what people want to know and that’s why I’m here.”
Fans had already called out some of George’s on-air behaviour as problematic, including branding Barbados-born Mica’s fashion “exotic” and him ousting British-Indian Samraj in a game.
When challenged on his microaggressions towards non-white Islanders, George said: “I don’t blame everyone because you don’t see everything.
“You see such a small percentage of all the conversations and the relationships that you build. So I get it, I completely get it.
“And there are, you know, standout moments where you think, oh, that doesn’t look the greatest.
“I probably have said things that in reflection don’t look or sound great, but that’s just how I am in the moment.
“And I know it will shoot me in the foot. I shoot myself in the foot a few times, but authenticity is – I think – what people are drawn to.”
The Sun is not repeating George’s slur.
ITV and George declined to comment.
