Another dark and addictive mystery from Harlan Coben is officially on the way to Netflix — and early reactions suggest viewers may already have their next binge obsession
The streaming giant has now confirmed that I Will Find You will premiere on June 18 as a full binge-drop event, giving crime thriller fans eight tense episodes to devour in one sitting.
And if the newly released trailer is any indication, this could become one of Netflix’s biggest thriller releases of the summer.
Known for twist-heavy mystery adaptations packed with shocking revelations, hidden secrets, and emotional family drama, Harlan Coben has quietly built one of the most successful crime-thriller empires in streaming. From Netflix hits to adaptations across multiple platforms, his name has become almost synonymous with “just one more episode” television.
But after a relatively quiet stretch following Run Away starring James Nesbitt, Coben now appears ready to dominate streaming conversations once again.
I Will Find You centers on an innocent father serving life in prison for the murder of his own son — until one chilling discovery changes everything. After receiving evidence suggesting the child may still be alive, the desperate father becomes consumed with uncovering the truth behind the nightmare that destroyed his life.
Leading the series is Sam Worthington, best known globally for playing Jake Sully in Avatar. He stars alongside Britt Lower, whose breakout role in Severance helped make her one of streaming television’s fastest-rising stars.
Created for television by Robert Hull, the series combines psychological suspense, emotional trauma, and high-stakes mystery — the exact formula that has turned so many of Coben’s previous adaptations into global streaming hits.
Fans online are already describing the trailer as “pulse-pounding,” “stressful in the best way,” and “the kind of thriller that ruins your sleep schedule for an entire weekend.”
With eight tightly packed 45-minute episodes, many viewers are already predicting I Will Find You will become the next massive one-weekend binge phenomenon the moment it drops.
And judging by the growing online reaction, Netflix may already have another thriller obsession on its hands.
