Strictly 2026 Drops Another Casting Bombshell as Big Brother Favorite Joins the Ballroom Line-Up
STRICTLY Come Dancing has revealed the sixth star to sign up for the dancing contest.
The BBC competition will be welcoming Big Brother presenter Will Best to the dancefloor, who says he has ‘no idea’ whether he can dance or not.

Will, 41, presents Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu and hosts the Hits Breakfast Radio Show with Fleur East and James Barr.
He’s sure to have had plenty of tips from Fleur, who took part in the show in 2022 and went on to host spin-off It Takes Two before being axed.
She then admitted her disappointment at not being offered the main show’s hosting gig, with Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe at the helm instead.
Will is set to have plenty to chat with host Emma about too, with the pair both having served as Big Brother hosts.

Emma fronted the show from 2013 until 2018, with Will and AJ joining for ITV’s rebooted version of the show in 2023.
Confirming the news that he’s joining Strictly, Will said on Instagram: “This is surreal. I am unbelievably excited and more than a little terrified to be able to say, I’m doing Strictly this year!
“I’m doing Strictly this year, I can’t believe it. I’m so nervous already but it’s going to be so fun. I love the show and I can’t wait to find out if I can dance. I’ve got no idea! But we can find out together.”
Moving around a little while filming himself, Will then joked: “It’s all in the hips, innit? You’ve just got to move. That was bad – what I just did there was bad – I can’t do that. But anyway, thank you for having me, this is going to be amazing.”
He will be joining the five stars who have already been revealed to be hitting the dancefloor this year.
Two Love Island champions are taking part this year with series 4 winner Dani Dyer and series 12’s top-placed star Cach Mercer also on the line-up.
They will join EastEnders legend Lacey Turner, Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem and Kim Kardashian’s hairdresser Chris Appleton on this year’s line-up.
Previously, The Sun exclusively revealed that newly single X Factor hunk Jake Quickenden is in talks with Strictly bosses, in addition to Paralympian cyclist Sarah Storey – though the Beeb are yet to officially announce them as contestants.
The 2026 series will get underway after a massive show shake-up that saw a number of pro dancers axed.
And of course, the new presenting line-up of Emma, Josh and Johannes following the departures of Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly last year.
