One Episode Is All It Takes: Netflix’s New Harlan Coben Thril-ler Has Viewers Completely Hooked

Netflix viewers can't stop binge-watching this new mystery thriller full of 'twists and turns'

Harlan Coben is back at it again, as yet another of his adaptations is making its way onto Netflix. In recent years, Harlan Coben’s book adaptations have proved to be fantastic TV, with plenty of incredible titles for audiences to enthrall themselves in. The author is renowned for his mystery stories, often involving proving the real identity of the person behind a murder or other heinous action, and when it comes to crime dramas and thrillers, Coben knows what he’s doing.

Of course, some of his titles are more prominent than others. In 2024, Netflix audiences were gripped by Fool Me Once, and just a few months before, it felt like everyone was talking about Shelter, too. The most recent addition to Netflix’s Harlan Coben collection is I Will Find You, and viewers are excited to see how the author’s novel plays out on-screen. Considering the audience response to Sam Worthington’s casting in I Will Find You, it’s no surprise that so many are rushing to binge all eight episodes on Netflix.

Harlan Coben’s Miniseries ‘I Will Find You’ Is Now on Netflix

Netflix's New 8-Part Harlan Coben Thriller Is the Perfect One-Night Binge

Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You is arriving on Netflix today, June 18. I Will Find You is an adaptation of Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name and serves as the thirteenth title in the deal between him and Netflix. There is no doubt that the author’s collaboration with the streaming service has been a huge success, and there are no signs of this deal’s upward trajectory stopping anytime soon. I Will Find You is an eight-part thriller miniseries that follows David, who, while serving a prison sentence for the murder of his son, discovers that his dead child may actually still be alive.

Like any Harlan Coben Netflix series, I Will Find You features a brilliant cast, including Avatar‘s Sam Worthington as David and Severance‘s Britt Lower as David’s former sister-in-law, Rachel. The story that sees the pair seek out the truth about their son/nephew is nothing short of gripping, but a good mystery you can sink your teeth into is a given in any project involving Harlan Coben. Unlike a lot of Coben English-language adaptations, though, I Will Find You is set in the US rather than the UK, which is a refreshing change of pace.

Of course, Coben is heavily involved with this title, and he serves as executive producer alongside I Will Find You‘s showrunner and creator, Robert Hull, who is known for the likes of Once Upon a TimeAlcatraz, and the 2022 Quantum Leap revival. He has a rather different filmography in comparison to Fool Me OnceSafe, and Run Away‘s Danny Brocklehurst, so it’ll be interesting to see how Hull interprets Coben’s work and translates it to the screen.

Each episode is around 45 minutes, so it will take you about six hours altogether to watch I Will Find You, making it the perfect one-day binge. Whether David and Rachel ever find out what has happened to the child who meant everything to them is now for you to discover (unless you’ve already read the book), and now that I Will Find You has arrived on Netflix, the answer is only a mere day of binge-watching away.
