LOVE Island’s Samantha Kenny has ‘confirmed’ her lowkey romance with a hunky actor from a BBC hit after their secret date.

The blonde stunner, 28, sent her followers into a meltdown earlier this week when she teased her “Bafta nominee” mystery man.

She quickly shot down the rumours and speculation, but now she has made a move that seemingly confirms their budding romance.

Rumours have been swirling that Sam could be loved up with actor James Nelson Joyce, 37.

Today she took to Instagram to share a post that James had posted on his page.

James shared the trailer for season two of BBC hit This City Is Ours, which is the show he stars in.

Not only this but a source told The Sun: “They were recently at the Baftas together.

“They looked all cosy while they were at the event. They’ve been dating for a few months, I have heard.”

The Sun reached out to Samantha’s rep for comment.

Former villa hottie Sam shot to fame two years ago in the villa, but her romance with Joey Essex on the show saw her dumped after he fell for another blonde bombshell.

The Liverpudlian star – who was once linked to Towie’s Pete Wicks – recently shared a sweet clip of her supposed new man putting lipliner on her.

In the TikTok clip from earlier this week, you could only see her boyfriend’s hand, but you could hear his voice, and he had a Scouse accent like her.

Another clue about his identity was that Sam wrote over the clip that he was “Bafta nominee”.

With this in mind, fans went into overdrive to work out who he is, with James’ name coming up consistently.

The star, who was nominated this year for a Bafta for his role in This City is Ours, is also from Liverpool.

However, Sam was quick to shoot the romance rumours down, and responded to a comment on the video by saying: “Definitely not.”

The stunning star became an instant fan favourite when she entered the Love Island villa in 2024 as one of the original Islanders and was initially coupled up with hairdresser Sam Taylor.

But when celebrity bombshell Joey entered the villa he chose to couple up with her.

However, the pair lasted just two weeks before his head was turned when his ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson walked through the door.

Samantha was left heartbroken, before seeing her short Love Island stint over, when she was dumped from the villa.

After leaving the ITV2 reality show, it’s fair to say the stunning star has had her pick of men.

In February, Sam saw former Islander Tyrique Hyde, 27, chase after her.

Before that, The Sun revealed last summer how the blonde beauty was dating Pete Wicks.
