NEW Love Island bombshell Simba certainly made an impact when he entered the villa on Wednesday night, but it turns out not to be his first rodeo.

The hunky new arrival, 24, actually appeared on another dating show just months before heading out to Mallorca.

Back in February, Simba appeared on dating show Pop The Balloon Or Find Love, which airs on YouTube and Netflix.

The show sees one single evaluated by a panel of potential suitors, who each have a balloon and pop it if they aren’t interested, or keep it if they are.

Appearing on the episode, Simba was seen introducing himself to a stunning Student Nurse Fathia and sharing his strengths and weaknesses.

“One of my strengths is probably being able to deal with adversity, so resilience, I guess, put short.

“Weakness, I’d probably say sometimes I am a bit too hard on myself. I feel like my friends say that probably more than I’d admit that. And sometimes I overthink a little bit,” said Simba.

However, he later popped his balloon and said that he didn’t like the fact one of Fathia’s weaknesses was ‘letting things slide’, admitting he didn’t want the ability to be able to ‘violate’ her.

Trainee Accountant Tamara was the next lady to potentially date Simba, but he again popped his balloon after getting down to the final two datees.

Simba admitted he wasn’t attracted to Tamara and said he wasn’t a fan of her finance worker lifestyle.

With that venture not resulting in romance, Simba has now entered Love Island as a bombshell after four years of being single.

He wasted no time in getting to know Angelista, and the pair have already shared a kiss.

This is to the dismay of Angelista’s previous partner, Ope, who will be seen in an explosive clash with Simba during this evening’s episode.

In the teaser for the episode, Simba tells Ope he feels he’s more suited to Angelista, while Ope says it can’t be a looks thing because he’s a “10 out of 10”.

Simba is then seeing laying into Ope and telling him: “You tried to have your cake and eat it” while referencing his ‘wandering eye’ comments earlier in the week.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
