E-motorbike hoons have been captured on CCTV tearing through a Canberra shopping centre after hours.
Footage released by ACT Policing captures one rider doing a series of burnouts in the mall leaving a trail of tyre marks and another speeding past a row of shops with a passenger on the back while the other follows on one-wheel.
Police allege three youths entered South Point shopping centre at Tuggeranong, in Canberra’s south, riding two e-motorbikes at speed about 8pm on June 15.

One of the riders allegedly stopped to do a burnout, leaving tyre marks and floor damage near the customer service desk.
Police have released CCTV of the incident and called for public assistance to identify the three young people.
A police spokesman said one male rider was wearing white shoes, light coloured pants, a black hooded jumper with a white picture, blue vest, grey helmet and black gloves.
Another male was wearing black and white Nike shoes, dark pants, a black hooded jumper with a white pattern and red shoulders and a black helmet.

A male passenger with light coloured hair was wearing shorts, a light coloured jumper and a dark coloured vest.
“ACT Policing acknowledge that it is difficult to identify people wearing helmets but are asking members of the community who may recognise the youths or the e-motorbikes to come forward,” a police spokesman said.
