Mohammed Halani, 19, crashed into a wall in Peterborough city centre
Halani can be seen failing to stop for cops on Lincoln Road, instead speeding off and ignoring keep left and no entry signs as he drives recklessly through the busy area.
The teen is then spotted ploughing the turquoise Audi S3 into a wall in Westgate as alarmed pedestrians dive out of the way and the car bonnet bursts open.
Halani then darts out of the vehicle and sprints down the street into the nearby Queensgate shopping mall.
CCTV footage shows him walking briskly through the centre, looking nervously over his shoulder.

Halani then made a dash for it, leaving the car on the street

Halani was found at a nearby restaurant and arrested
The speeding teen was eventually caught sitting at a restaurant table where he was arrested.
Halani, from Audley Gate in Netherton, admitted failing to stop, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
He was sentenced to a year in prison, suspended for two years, at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court.
He was also disaqualified from driving for two years and ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work and 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
It follows a terrifying hit-and-run in Edmonton, North London, which saw a speeding car crash head on with a taxi after driving the wrong way down an underpass.
The reckless collision was caught on the dashcam of another driver, as the saloon careered towards the cabbie urgently flashing its lights.
