There’s always a thrill in stumbling across something truly gripping to watch, and a particular programme has been praised so highly that viewers are staying up virtually all night to get through it. The Netflix series has recently been thrust into the spotlight by fans, with many declaring it absolutely brilliant.

If you’re on the hunt for something fresh to watch, this could well be a TV show worth adding to your list, having garnered considerable acclaim on TikTok. It was brought to wider attention by Paola Marie, who included it amongst her top picks when it comes to unmissable programmes that are guaranteed to keep you up well past your bedtime.

It’s not the only series to have captured people’s imaginations recently, either. Another Netflix title has similarly had viewers completely hooked.

According to Paola, it’s “dangerously addictive” and so compelling that it will “ruin your sleep schedule”, as you’ll find yourself sacrificing precious hours in bed just to watch it through to the end. The show in question is His & Hers, and it has certainly got tongues wagging.

One said: “I loved it! I had so many misconceptions throughout!” Another added: “Watched for Jon Bernthal.

“Just finished binge watching the whole thing instantly. Wow. Had me hooked the whole time. Loved it. Didn’t see that ending coming.”

A third replied: “Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was thrown! The ending totally got me. I feel like it’s rare for a show to truly keep you on your toes without relying on cheap/irrational plot twists, so this is really refreshing.”

A fourth enthused: “This was the best show I’ve watched in a long time! 10 out of 10, had me hooked the whole time, and that ending was incredible.”

One further viewer added: “It was so good. I thought I had it figured out and was so shocked at the end.”

What’s it about?

For those yet to tune in, His & Hers is an American mystery thriller limited series. It stars Tessa Thompson, Jon Bernthal, Pablo Schreiber, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Sunita Mani.

The programme is based on the 2020 novel of the same name by British author Alice Feeney, and landed on Netflix back in January 2026.

As for the storyline, it follows Anna, a former news anchor living in isolation after withdrawing from both her career and personal life. When she learns of a murder in Dahlonega, the small Georgian town where she grew up, she feels a sudden and overwhelming urge to spring back into action.

Drawing on her professional instincts and unresolved connections to her past, she heads back to Dahlonega and begins investigating the case, convinced that the truth has long been buried beneath silence and half-forgotten history.

Yet, as she carries out her duties, she finds herself repeatedly at odds with Detective Jack Harper, her estranged husband. Assigned to the very same case, he becomes increasingly concerned about her intentions and level of involvement.
