A LOVE Island boy tonight admitted to FAKING his romance with a co-star after discovering her “big ego”.

The startling admission came following tonight’s recoupling which saw the Islanders switch up their partners.

During the recoupling, Priya chose Samraj to couple up with, after they had spent the last few days flirting.

However, during a conversation straight afterwards with Lorenzo, Samraj admitted he wasn’t happy that she picked him.

Lowering his voice so Priya couldn’t hear, he told his friend: “You know what puts me off? I think she’s got a really big ego.

“I’m still going to fake it. I’ll give her a chance because I am attracted to Priya.

“And like we’re both Indian Punjabi, similar stuff and maybe I can just look at the positives.”

Samraj’s comment came after he was left put-ut when Priya admitted to snogging Lorenzo in bed – despite telling him that night, that she liked him.

It comes after Love Island fans claimed they thought that Priya had become an “outcast in the villa, after she got terrible scores during the kissing challenge.

Viewers said they feared she could be in serious trouble when the public vote finally opens.

They claimed she has failed to form a strong romantic connection and isn’t particularly popular inside the villa either.

The awkward kissing challenge sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans pointing to her low scores as proof that Priya’s fellow Islanders aren’t warming to her.

One viewer wrote: “Wow they did Priya dirty with those scores looking back. She is just getting embarrassed every dayyyy.”

Another posted about Priya’s current coupling with Lorenzo, sharing: “Lorenzo hates Priya? Because he must have known it was her and still gave her a 6.5.”

The criticism of Priya also hasn’t just come from inside the villa.

Dumped Islander Robyn was asked on AfterSun about her former co-star, and she didn’t hold back.

The blonde bombshell said Priya was “giving superfan” and suggested viewers can often spot contestants who are “not in it for the right reasons”.

She also accused Priya of “jumping from boy to boy” and claimed she “needs to stay in her lane”.
