A teenager has been charged with the kidnapping and murder of Chris Baghsarian, with police alleging the 19-year-old supplied a gun that was used when the widower was taken from his Sydney home.
Moustafa Ohrok, 19, was on Tuesday arrested and later charged over his alleged role in the suspected abduction and killing of Mr Baghsarian earlier this year.
The 85-year-old pensioner was taken from his North Ryde home on February 13 in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.

Police pleaded for his safe return, but Mr Baghsarian’s remains were located near a golf club at Pitt Town, on Sydney’s northwestern outskirts, on February 24.
Mr Ohrok has been charged with murder and take/detain in company with intent to ransom occasioning actual bodily harm.
He did not appear in Mt Druitt Local Court as his matter was mentioned on Wednesday morning.
His solicitor, Abdul Saddik, did not apply for bail on his client’s behalf but flagged that he would make an application to be released at a later date.
Outside court, Mr Saddik said Mr Ohrok planned to fight the murder charge.
Mr Saddik told the court that Mr Ohrok was previously charged with an unrelated “arson attack” in Guildford West and was already in custody when he was on Tuesday charged with murder.
He was scheduled to face Parramatta Local Court on the unrelated matter on Tuesday.
According to court records, Mr Ohrok is facing charges of damage property by fire and participating in a criminal group in relation to the other matter.

NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said prosecutors would allege that Mr Ohrok “provided a firearm used in the initial kidnapping” of Mr Baghsarian.
“We are focused, we will continue to make sure we put every single person before the court where possible,” he told 2GB on Wednesday morning.
Mr Ohrok is the fourth person charged over Mr Baghsarian’s alleged murder.
The first arrests took place early on February 25 when police raided the homes of Gerard Andrews, 29, and Daniel Stevens, 24, dragging the pair from their homes in Kenthurst and Castle Hill as confused family members watched on.
They were both charged with murder and kidnapping with intent to ransom or occasion bodily harm and remain before the courts.

One month later on March 25, police searched a home in Seven Hills and arrested a man and a woman, both 23.
The man, Deklin Jake Donnelly, was charged with murder, kidnapping in company with intent to ransom or occasion actual bodily harm, possession of an unauthorised firearm and ammo, acquiring illegal firearm parts, three counts of supplying prohibited drugs and one count of failing to hand over digital evidence.
The woman was charged over unrelated outstanding charges for contravening an apprehended domestic violence order.

Before his remains were located, Mr Baghsarian’s family called the incident “surreal”.
“Chris’s kidnapping feels surreal, and we are struggling to make sense of the fact that he has been taken and that our family has been caught up in something that has nothing to do with us,” the family said in a statement.
“Chris is a devoted father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He is deeply loved, gentle, and the kindest person we know – someone who would never hurt a fly.”
