Prince Harry has been slammed with five words on GB News after he confirmed that he will be visiting London alone as his security protection remains an issue, as Nana Akua raged he “makes it worse for himself”. This comes as reports revealed that the Duke of Sussex is the focus of six terrorist plots, five of which originated in the UK. Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, won’t be accompanying with Harry, but royal commentator Jennie Bond said it is still possible to bring the children to meet their grandfather, King Charles.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond believed that instead of London, Meghan will probably meet Harry in Birmingham, where the Invictus Games countdown will be held. She added: “As regards to possibly bringing the children to meet their grandfather, we’ve got Sandringham, Balmoral, Highgrove. There are places outside London, where the door has been left open to that happening, that I think it will be very much in private.”

But all it comes down to is security issues. GB News presenter Nana Akua argued that Harry is using his children as “bargaining chips” for maximum security protection. She said: “He does get a level of security, it’s not like he’s going around without security. He wanted RAVEC, which was the problem here. What he’s complaining about is that he’s not getting the highest level royal protection, that he feels he deserves it, but he has made it worse for himself.”
Jennie, however, believed that the demand is for Meghan, Archie and Lilibet’s safety, adding: “Particularly after what happened to his own mother, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for security for a few days.”
She also said it would have been better if Harry were to come over to visit the Royal Hospital Chelsea and, perhaps also, the Invictus Games by himself.
She added: “And at the time, none of us knew about it, probably brought the children into the country to see the King, it must be possible. I mean the word is they are in Europe at the moment on holiday.”
Despite Harry and his children being fifth, sixth and seventh in line to the throne, he had his automatic royal protection removed in 2020 when he stepped down as a senior working royal.
Harry claims he was promised a review each year by the Risk Management Board, but none has taken place since the Duke and Duchess moved to California six years ago.
