Meghan Markle had planned something involving Princess Diana’s jewellery for her trip back to the UK with Harry and their two children… BUT NOW, it is facing uncertainty as the plan appears to be going off track
Prince Harry is said to be ‘distraught’ as Ravec’s safety ruling has left his travel plans in turmoil.
Meghan Markle is expected to wear personal and symbolic jewellery pieces during her highly anticipated arrival in the United Kingdom next week, an industry expert has exclusively told GB News.
The high-profile visit, which marks a significant return to British soil for the Sussexes, comes amid a major security row that has left the travel plans of the Duchess of Sussex and the couple’s two children hanging in the balance.
Speaking exclusively to the People’s Channel, Anna Byers, Head of Bespoke Design at Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller 77 Diamonds, predicted that the duchess will utilise her wardrobe to forge a connection between the different chapters of her life.
She said: “I expect Meghan to remain true to her style and choose pieces that hold personal meaning.
“We’re likely to see her wearing Princess Diana’s gold watch, which she often wears and was passed down to her, alongside meaningful gifts from the Royal Family, such as the diamond tennis bracelet thought to be gifted by the then-Prince Charles as a wedding present.”
Ms Byers further anticipated that the duchess will include nods to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
She added: “Meghan has consistently used jewellery to tell a story, so I also anticipate subtle tributes to her children through symbolic pieces incorporating their birthstones, much like the gold diamond and emerald chain necklace she wore in Geneva in May to represent Prince Archie’s emerald birthstone.
“We may also see jewellery from both British and American designers, reflecting the two chapters of her life and creating a thoughtful emotional connection.”

The couple’s itinerary is centred around a series of engagements marking the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Scheduled appearances include a highly public visit to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) to launch the countdown and showcase adaptive sports.
Prince Harry is also slated to attend the 14th Invictus Games Foundation Conversation at Chatham House and hold private meetings at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
In addition, he will visit Birmingham Children’s Hospital to celebrate a WellChild nurse milestone and attend Scotty’s Summer Festival at Maxstoke Castle in Warwickshire.

However, while Prince Harry is a definite attendee for the five-day tour, the involvement of Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet remains entirely up in the air.
The trip has been thrown into turmoil following the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) declining the duke’s request for taxpayer-funded police protection outside of royal residences.
Sources close to the duke reveal he is “distraught” over the ruling, actively fearing paparazzi pursuit.

A spokesman for the Sussexes confirmed the ongoing crisis, stating that “safe accommodation is only one element of an effective protective security plan because risk follows the person, not the place.”
The representative stressed that Prince Harry “continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK.”
