A BAFTA-winning courtroom programme that captivated audiences is reportedly set to make a comeback for a fourth series.
TVZone reports that Channel 4 has commissioned another instalment of The Jury: Murder Trial — in which real murder cases are restaged before juries made up of ordinary members of the public — before the third series has even been broadcast.
The third series is apparently expected to be unveiled later this year, with a fourth series said to be currently in production and set to air next year.

The Jury: Murder Trial launched in 2024, exploring the jury system by recreating entire real murder trials from the original transcripts. Filmed across several days, the series offered an in-depth look at the inner workings of the trial process.
In the first series, actors portraying barristers and judges re-enacted a case in which a man had admitted to killing his wife, but whose defence argued that he had lost control and was therefore not guilty of murder, reports the Mirror.
