THE SCENES TURNED CHAOTIC..! – Riot police were called after protesters targeted One Nation leader Pauline Hanson at a Sydney charity ball, with Hanson later revealing she fears for her life following disturbing messages and voicemails.

The riot squad has been called in as a large group of protesters gather outside a high-profile charity event in Sydney, where some of the country’s biggest names are heading.

One Nation leader Pauline Hanson is among the VIPs attending the charity ball at the Star Casino, with the Queensland senator arriving accompanied by a personal bodyguard.

Hanson says she is fearing for her life after being targeted by violent extremists who have left disturbing texts and voicemails threatening to harm her, her family and even her staff.

Her team is already on edge following a security breach at the National Press Club, where an unauthorised protest banner was lowered behind her during an appearance.

The incident has prompted Senator Hanson to call on federal police to review her protection detail, claiming it was withdrawn by the Prime Minister after the 2022 election.

However, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has denied the claim, stating security decisions are made independently by the Australian Federal Police.

“The AFP decide their things independently based upon their assessments. These decisions are not political,” Albanese said.

“Every member of parliament should be able to go about their business free from any threats or any intimidation.”

Mining magnate Gina Rinehart is also among the high-profile guest list for Saturday’s ball, which has been organised by controversial neurosurgeon Charlie Teo.
