LOVE Island fans think they’ve worked out why Simba keeps kicking off when Angelista is mentioned.
He’s currently at Casa Amor with the other boys getting to know the new bombshells while Angelista is the in the main villa with the new boys.

He wasn’t happy when Casa bombshell Neveah brought up AngelistaCredit: ITV
ITV2 viewers think the islander cares more about the public’s perception of him, which is why he appears visibly frustrated when Angelista is brought up.
One fan began a thread on Reddit and asked: “What is going on with Simba?”
They went on to comment: “Every. Single. Time. Somebody brings up him and Angie he gets defensive. He gets angry and frustrated. What is the reason?
“I first noticed this during the game Public Tea + Villa receipts – When the public wanted justice for Angie. He couldn’t believe it.
“Stating over and over again he couldn’t get it. “Lying king” made him very very angry which makes me believe he cannot fathom that what he did was so wrong.
“In Casa Amor when Neveah brought up Angie he just seemed distressed. And later on when she brought her up again “ I won’t ever allow you to treat me like that“ (implying how he treated Angie) I know Simba was MAD.
“Then, Fitzy told Neveah how Simba didn’t like how she kept bringing up Angie and she was confused + slightly annoyed (fair enough, it’s normal to talk about how things are going with another partner on love island).
“When she brought it up to Simba – He was FURIOUS! He was looking at the boys, looking away and avoiding the question, shifting the blame.
“He did not want to even think about how he treated Angie and how he made her feel. He never wanted to apologise or anything. Come on…”
Other Reddit users took to the comments section as one said: “I think when he gets called out he starts worrying about public perception.”
Another person penned: “Doesn’t like his transgressions being brought up on TV and looking like the villain.
“Same reason he didn’t wanna look like a d******d after the Mica rejection. Same reason he didn’t want Neveah to cry. All about perception and image.”

Somebody else speculated: “He’s angry because he crafts how each person separately perceives him.
“On the outside, it’s unlikely that people would talk to each other to find out the inconsistencies and slipperiness that they do in a confined environment.
“He is most angry when it is clear that his behaviour has been shown to the public in a way that he can’t spin the narrative because it’s on camera.”
While yet another added: “I think he doesn’t like her to be mentioned in there since he wanted to forget about her and have lots of fun in there, classic male experience in Casa.
“Bringing her up reminds him that he’s not single and he screwed things up before.”
Simba has been getting to know both Neveah and Mara at the Casa Amor villa.
He shared a bed with Neveah on the first night before having a smooch in the pool with Mara the following day.
Simba and Angelista haven’t had the easiest of journeys so far, after he enjoyed kisses with Mica while the pair were whisked away to the Sleepover villa.
After returning, he told Angelista that he wanted to spend the night with Mica in the Hideaway.
Mica realised he wasn’t for her as she rekindled things with previous flame Samraj.
Prior to Casa Amor, Simba and Angelista were going from strength to strength but it looks like she won’t be happy when she finds out about his antics.
