Love Island fans have expressed their concern for Jasmine, as her connection with Kavan appeared to be in more peril than ever. This Monday’s (29 June) episode of the ITV2 series saw Kavan — along with the rest of the boys in Casa Amor — explore a new connection with Charleen, while Jasmine couldn’t get Kavan out of her mind back in the main Villa.
Charleen was introduced as one of six new bombshells ahead of Casa Amor opening its doors for the boys, and Kavan instantly felt a spark with her. During Monday’s episode, the two even shared a steamy kiss, prompting fans to take to social media to share pleas and predictions about Kavan’s relationship with Jasmine.
One viewer shared their frustration over Jasmine “romanticising” her relationship with Kavan, completely unaware of his flirty behaviour with Charleen, and branded the behaviour “painful”.
Another fan urged Jasmine to make the most of the Love Island experience for herself, while a third viewer begged: “love jasmine but you and kavan are not ross/rachel, please move to one of these casa amor men!!”
While Jasmine and Kavan have been coupled up for weeks, their connection has faced several hurdles. In more recent scenes, Jasmine’s lingering chemistry with former Villa partner Lorenzo stirred up trouble. Kavan decided to call time on the relationship before another recoupling brought the pair back together — though they’d agreed on a break prior to Kavan’s entrance in Casa Amor.
Now that the hunk has kissed Charleen and seems keen to explore the connection, many viewers want Jasmine to follow in his footsteps — particularly since another Islander, Jordon, has expressed his interest.
Tension dominated the rest of this Monday’s episode as the main Villa and Casa Amor went head-to-head in a game of “Don’t Bottle It”, where Islanders completed raunchy challenges for victory.
While the newest challenge began in high spirits, Jasmine was rattled when Mica told her Kavan would receive a massage as the youngest person in Casa Amor as part of the challenge, leaving viewers furious. A multitude of fans called out Mica, demanding that Jasmine re-assess their friendship.
Viewers, on the other hand had been hoping for Jasmine to rekindle her bond with Lorenzo — until Casa Amor, where Lorenzo began exploring a new connection of his own with Julia.
