Love Island viewers predict shock split for fan-favourite couple in Casa Amor twist

Love Island viewers are convinced Yasmin and Lorenzo’s relationship could be over after this Monday’s (29 June) instalment of the ITV2 series saw the hunk explore a new connection in Casa Amor with Julia.

The show’s biggest twist made its return this Sunday, with the boys and girls separated into different villas before being introduced to a brand-new group of six bombshells. While several islanders appeared determined to stay loyal to their current partners, Lorenzo wasted little time getting to know Julia, leaving many viewers questioning whether his connection with Yasmin – already made fragile by his lingering chemistry with Jasmine – could be at risk.

Fans believed they could sense chemistry between Julia and Lorenzo as they shared friendly chat near the Fire Pit, and took to social media to predict that Lorenzo could recouple with Julia in future scenes.

One viewer commented that Lorenzo had “found his match,” while another fan was astonished by Lorenzo’s good mood around Julia, writing: “I’ve never heard Lorenzo laugh so much get him a flight to Kraków asap.” Another commented that the new connection could seal the end of Yasmin and Lorenzo’s relationship.

Moments later, Lorenzo and Julia shared another private conversation and just as their exchange became flirtatious, they eventually locked lips. Comments from viewers continued to pour in as they shared the same plea – for Lorenzo to bring Julia back to the main Villa.

The latest development comes after a series of difficult moments for Lorenzo and Yasmin, as she’d previously admitted she had been left disappointed by his lack of affection. In previous scenes, Yasmin had been left in tears as she confided in Mica that she wanted more reassurance about where they stood.

These concerns were later relayed to Jasmine, who questioned whether Lorenzo’s feelings were as strong as Yasmin believed. But since the Casa Amor twist, Yasmin has found a new connection of her own to explore with Tommy, confessing to cameras that she’d be keeping her eye on him.

asmine, on the other hand, has had a more difficult history so far. After being coupled up with Lorenzo early on in the season, Jasmine moved on with Kavan and viewers felt they could go the distance.

It was on these uneasy terms that Kavan left the main Villa for Casa Amor during Sunday’s episode of the dating series (28 June), where he felt an instant connection with new islander Charleen. The pair shared their own kiss this Monday, announcing more difficult times ahead for another couple in the Villa.
