Jules Neale’s shock claim about star’s infidelity as she reveals how she found out about Lions star’s ‘betrayal’
In a tell-all interview, Jules Neale has opened up about Lachie Neale’s affair with her best friend Tess Crosley and made stunning claims about his past indiscretions.
Jules Neale has sensationally claimed Brisbane star Lachie Neale had stepped out on their marriage before the highly public fling with her best friend Tess Crosley.
In a tell-all interview with Adelle Petropoulos – who called off her own wedding last year after discovering her fiancee’s infidelity – Jules said the Lions midfielder had cheated on her with not just Tess but at least two women.
After seven years of marriage, the 36-year-old left the couple’s home and took their children back to her hometown in Perth after the Crosley cheating scandal before then finding out the true extent of his infidelity.
After originally believing it was a one-off kiss, Jules claims upon arriving in Perth she discovered it was instead a secret four-month fling.
“It’s the worst feeling in the world,’’ Jules told Petropoulos on the Pretty Sure podcast.
“You just question everything. You’re like, who knows about this? Am I the only person that doesn’t know? Does everybody else know, and did the other players know? Did the other partners know?
“You kind of question your trust with everything and everyone at that point. It’s not a good feeling. But after talking to the other partners at the club, they all seemed very shocked, so I don’t think it was a known thing among them all, which is good because that would have been more salt in the wound to know everyone knew before you.”

The 36-year-old hairdresser and influencer revealed that she found out about his affair with Crosley through the partner of another Lions player, describing the moment as the “worst feeling in the world”.
“The poor thing, (she’s) a close friend of mine,’’ Jules said.
“It came from another partner at the club to her, she called one of my close friends at the club. This is the information I know and what I’ve seen. I don’t want to have to call Jules and tell her, ‘Can you do it? It would be better coming from you.
“So my poor friend had to call me and tell me.”
But according to Jules it wasn’t the first time Neale had cheated on her.
The influencer revealed she was in bed for four days after a ‘Hey girly’ DM. But Neale had promised her it was a one off and would never happen again and she ultimately decided to work through it for their daughter.
“I found out he had cheated on me before,’’ she continued.

“I got one of those awful ‘hey girly’ DMs with receipts. The worst day of my life; I didn’t leave bed for four days. Before that I would have bet my life that he would have never done that to me ever.
“Then I was reassured that was a one-off thing, it would never happen again, biggest mistake of his life, yada yada yada.
“We already had my daughter together, so I decided to stay and try to work on it. I just felt like after that people can make mistakes.
“And if it was a one-off mistake, I don’t want to break up our family because of it. I’ve got too much at stake here for her.
“So I did stay. It was really hard. If something like this happens to you in your relationship, if you get cheated on, betrayed in any way, leaving is so hard and scary, but staying is hard as well.”

Jules had kept relatively quiet about what happened since posting that she had been “betrayed in the most unimaginable way” and then shutting down claims the couple “were working through things”.
And the hairdresser revealed that while people finding out about what transpired that way was never the plan, it was a huge relief that the public knew the true reasons as to why she had left.
“I actually felt a huge weight of relief off my shoulders because it actually felt good to have people know not exactly what had happened, but just the truth,” she said.
“I didn’t like how it sounded in the media that we were working through a marital issue and it sounded like we were having a fight and we were going to work through it and that was definitely not what was happening at all.”

Jules also put a false rumour to bed.
“There are some rumours that you guys were in an open relationship, the swinger rumour. Can you confirm or deny that you were in an open relationship, and is there any validity to that?” Petropoulos asked.
To which Jules responded: “It was definitely not an open relationship and definitely not swinging.
“If we were swinging, I wouldn’t have packed up my kids and left over a kiss. The swinging thing gets thrown around in cheating scandals all the time because it absolves any wrongdoing because people can say they’re not swinging. Absolutely not.”
Following the ordeal, Jules has rebuilt her life in Perth, recently announcing she has bought a new family home.
She also shared that she laser-removed the ‘L’ tattoo dedicated to her ex from her wrist.

But when it comes to her last name, Jules revealed she has no intention of changing it, due to her kids.
“I just think having the same last name as my kids is so important to me and having the same last name as two people (her kids) who are the most important people in the world to me means far more to me than the judgement people put on me for keeping it,” she said.
Jules’ interview comes as Tess Crosley also appeared on a Daily Mail podcast this week, with the episode set to be released in the coming days.
In a teaser for the upcoming episode, Crosley takes a deep breath as she sits behind a microphone.
Jules and Crosley’s interviews come days after Neale confirmed his new romance with Emma Field with a kiss in the Brisbane Lions’ dressing room after the team’s win over Collingwood at the MCG on Friday.
The pair have been spotted multiple times in public together since they were first romantically linked when they were seen walking together at Brisbane Airport earlier this month.
Field, an advertising professional, has travelled to watch Neale play in recent matches and took things a step further on Friday night when she was spotted inside the football club’s inner sanctum following their win over Collingwood.
