Police say the woman was attempting to cross the main road through the area, Nicklin Way.

The motorcyclist was travelling south when it struck the woman, a police spokesperson said.

Both the woman and the motorcyclist died at the scene. The woman lived in Warana, police say, and the man lived in nearby Golden Beach.

“Anyone with information that could assist police, including anyone with relevant dashcam vision of the vehicles, is urged to contact police,” the spokesperson said.
