The drama has been renewed for a third season
The drama, which first premiered on Canadian network CBC in 2025 before debuting on U&Alibi in the UK, will return with 12 new episodes.
While specific plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, series creators Allan Hawco and Robina Lord-Stafford teased that the upcoming episodes will build on the momentum of the first two seasons, promising “even more of the mystery, unexpected twists, and character dynamics that make this world so special.”
Meanwhile, Ava Knight, Director of Acquisitions at international distributors Fifth Season added that season three “raises the stakes in every sense with bold new investigations, evolving relationships and unexpected twists that expand the world of the series in compelling new ways.”
What is Saint-Pierre about?
Hailed as “excellent” by viewers, the series kicks off when Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny ‘Fitz’ Fitzpatrick (Hawco) is exiled to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon – a small French territory just off the Canadian coast – after digging too deep into a local politician’s corrupt activities.

Filming commences in July
His arrival disrupts the life of Deputy Chief Geneviève ‘Arch’ Archambault (Jobert), a Parisian transplant in Saint-Pierre for her own interesting reasons.
The synopsis continues: “Saint-Pierre is a police procedural with French star Josephine Jobert as Arch and Canadian star Allan Hawco as Fitz, and James Purefoy rounding out the stellar team.
“As if by fate, these two seasoned officers – with very different policing skills and approaches – are forced together to solve unique and exciting crimes. Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tends to wash up on its beautiful shores.”
