SIX arrests have been made after a man was stabbed to death.
A police officer in a patrol car came across an injured man in his 20s in Leicester city centre shortly after 10.45pm on Wednesday.

The victim – found on London Road, close to Saxby Street, had suffered significant injuries to his chest and stomach – and was rushed to hospital where he died in the early hours of yesterday.
Six men, aged 18 and 33, have all been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Initial enquiries suggested the victim was stabbed in De Montford Place – to the rear of a number of properties in London Road.
Leicestershire cops say the man sustained multiple injuries, including stab wounds.

One of the men detained has also been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
A crime scene remained in place last night on London Road and De Montford Place, with forensic examinations and searches continuing – but have since been lifted.
Detective Inspector Lorna Granville, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit Major Crime Team, said: “Following the death of the man, specialist trained officers have identified his next of kin and are supporting them.
“I would like to express my sincere condolences to them at this difficult time.
“This investigation remains ongoing with teams of dedicated officers and staff working to understand what has occurred and the events leading up to the injured man being found.
“Following extensive enquiries, we have made a number of arrests today. The six men in custody will now be interviewed while we continue to gather information and evidence in relation to the incident.
“I would like to thank people who live and work in the area for coming forward with information and assisting us, particularly in relation to capturing vital CCTV from last night.
“If anyone has not yet contacted police but has information or was driving in the area last night between 10.30pm and 11pm, please come forward. Even the smallest detail could assist us in our investigation.”
