Alannah has now posted a video to address what happened and try to defend herself.
Taking to TikTok, the star said: “Hi everyone. I’ve come on here to address some things that have been circulating online.
“I do want to begin by addressing the video of me singing along to a Roddy Ricch song which contains a racial slur.
“I’m sorry to whoever’s seen that video and been offended by it. That was never my intention.

“The video is from six years ago and that word is just not in my vocabulary anymore.”
Alannah also took a moment to point out to fans that any screenshots of her using inappropriate language has been “falsified” and that she would never discriminate against anyone because of their skin colour.
She finished off the video by saying she does not support racism or discrimination of any kind.
The clip where Alannah said the slur was posted to a private account but it as discovered when she made the account public as she joined the Love Island villa.
This meant the clip wasn’t flagged during Peacock‘s vetting process before choosing who to bring onto the show.
It follows Vasana Montgomery being removed from the show after being caught using the same slur in two videos online.
