Highway Ho-rror: 19-Year-Old Woman Allegedly Sh0t De-ad by Boyfriend During Interstate Drive
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – A 19-year-old girl has died after she was allegedly shot inside a car by her boyfriend on Interstate 77 in Iredell County on Sunday afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, Mooresville police said that a black Kia had crashed on I-77 near Exit 35. When officers arrived they found two people — a man and woman– suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both the man and woman were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, July 29, police said the 19-year-old girl had died from her injuries. Officials have not identified the girl at the time of this writing.

Mooresville Police Chief Ron Campurciani said on Tuesday, July 28, 23-year-old J’Kobe Tre’shon Ramseur allegedly shot his 19-year-old girlfriend in the head. Ramseur was the passenger and his girlfriend was driving the vehicle.
Police have now charged Ramseur with first-degree murder.
Chief Campurciani said that they had been in a relationship for a while.
“It’s been a real tumultuous relationship between them,” the chief said.
Police said that the two reportedly had domestic related violations in surrounding counties in the area. Officials did not go into detail what those violations were or where.
Chief Campurciani said there were text between the two starting at midnight on Sunday morning. Campurciani said that Ramseur allegedly text his girlfriend at 8 a.m. on Sunday and talked about a murder-suicide pact.
Officials said that Ramseur continued to text her and pressuring her to pick him up and she eventually did.
Police said the text messages stopped around 2:30 p.m. it was unclear what they were doing during those two hours before they were found off I-77.
Police said that Ramseur allegedly shot himself in the head. Chief Campurciani that the bullet was still in his head and it was removed.
The Mooresville police chief said that there were four total bullet holes in the car, all going outward, two bullet holes in the windshield, a bullet hole in the driver side window and one through the roof.
Mooresville police said that Ramseur is well known to authorities in multiple counties surrounding the area.
