As Leanne discussed visiting Wales with her partner Scott during tonight’s episode, Millie made a joke about her own time in the country with Liam
With Millie hailing from Essex and Liam residing in Wales, they were doing long-distance for a large portion of the relationship.
Now that Millie is back on screen looking for love, she has remained fairly quiet on what went on between her and Liam.
But in a hilarious moment, Millie took a swipe at the Welshman during tonight’s show.
As Leanne Amaning discussed her relationship with Scott Van Der Sluis, who is also Welsh, with the girls, she revealed that the pair were planning on visiting each other’s homes.
“I’m going to Wales,” exclaimed Leanne, as Jessy Potts joked: “You’ll need some hiking boots.”
Jumping in, Millie replied: “You can have mine,” as she referenced her time in the country and no longer needing boots.
Picking up on the moment, fans were left in stitches.
“‘You can have mine’ Millie THREW that shade at liam,” wrote one viewer.
Another said: “Not Millie saying to Leanne that she can have her boots when she goes to Wales, what did Liam do to her”.
“Millie’s ‘you can have mine’ was crazy everyone missed the lowkey dig at Liam,” echoed a third.
A fourth referenced her new romance with US bombshell Zac as they joked: “‘You can have hiking boots’ Millie said, f*** Liam, f***wales. I’m off to America #loveisland”.
Millie and Liam are said to have ended their romance due to the strain of long distance from her home in London to his in Wales.
While they did move in together briefly following their stint on the ITV show, the pressures of new fame and a new romance proved too high for the couple as they ended their relationship, with Liam returning to his home in Wales.
They rekindled things shortly after, but decided against living together for the second time around.
Now, it appears Millie is on her way to finding love on the show for a second time, with the star smitten with Zac.
