Royal fans convinced Princess Charlotte looks exactly like 1 relative

Princess Charlotte has been compared to one royal relative today as a new photograph and video has been shared by Kensington Palace to mark her 11th birthday. Prince William and Princess Catherine’s daughter appeared in a new photograph smiling at the camera in jeans and a stripy jumper in a garden in Cornwall during a family holiday in the Easter break.

The photograph was taken by Matt Porteous. This afternoon, a video from the family holiday was then shared online of Charlotte, which saw the young princess with the family dogs, enjoying a boat ride, writing in the sand with shells and bowling a cricket ball.

The video and photograph were met with plenty of birthday well wishes for the princess, with everyone commenting on how grown-up she looked.

Many royal fans were also quick to point out just how similar Princess Charlotte looks to one relative – her dad Prince William.

One fan wrote on Instagram: “She’s definitely a mini Prince William.”

Someone else said: “She’s looking so much like her Dad and I see some Elizabeth as well.”

Another person said: “She’s William’s spitting image.”

It is likely that Charlotte will be spending her special day today with her parents Prince William and Princess Catherine, alongside her brothers Prince George and Prince Louis.

The princess was last seen on the royal stage in April when she attended the Easter Sunday service in Windsor with the Royal Family.

It is likely she will next step out in public for Trooping the Colour in June
