Prince Harry Reportedly Hits New Emotional Setback After “Bizarre” Decision Derails Diana Grave Visit
Prince Harry’s request for a review of their police protection was turned down, as the Duke of Sussex must reconsider bringing his wife and kids to the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are bracing to visit the United Kingdom with their children; however, an infuriating twist brings an obstacle to their trip.
Their July visit will mark the first time the family has been in the U.K. together since 2022, and is set to include a visit to King Charles, along with a stop at Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, where Princess Diana is buried.
Archie and Lilibet have not met their grandfather, King Charles, since their last trip to Britain in June 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Sources also revealed that the Sussexes were offered accommodation at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle to fit their schedule during the week of their visit.
A source close to the Duke called the decision “bizarre.” In a statement on Monday, the spokesperson for Harry said that the Duke wants his family to have “the opportunity to enjoy the UK” with “proportionate protective security.”

“The Duke continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK,” the statement revealed. Hinting at the King’s offer of accommodations, the statement continued, “Safe accommodation is only one element of an effective protective security plan because risk follows the person, not the place.”
“The issue has never been accommodation. The issue is whether appropriate and proportionate protective security is being provided throughout the entirety of the visit.
“The Independent Risk Management Board that Ravec itself decided was necessary last November has still not taken place.
“It is therefore difficult to understand how the proportionality of the current arrangements can credibly be maintained without that independent assessment.”
The Sussexes are currently holidaying at their lavish property in Portugal, as Prince Harry reconsiders bringing his wife and kids to the UK due to the lack of 24/7 police protection.
Discussing his security concerns with the BBC in May 2025, Harry had stated, “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”
