The Duchess of Sussex received some Aussie-themed presents from YouTubers Sean and Marley during her recent trip Down Under.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received an unexpected gifts on their recent visit to Australia — one that left the Duchess of Sussex laughing and joking it was perfect for a vow renewal.

During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip Down Under last month, Meghan made a surprise appearance on the Get Down With Sean and Marley YouTube channel. Hosts Sean Skeels and Marley Whatarau, lifelong friends who both have Down syndrome — have built a following of more than one million subscribers with their joyful videos, which see them cooking, playing music and trying new things for the first time.

Last year, they posted a video titled “Meghan’s Spaghetti,” in which they recreated the duchess’s single-skillet spaghetti recipe from the Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. In return, Meghan sent a thank you note and a gift basket full of her favorite As ever products.

While she was in Australia, Sean and Marley decided to return the favor. In a video they shared on May 4, the duo presented Meghan with some distinctly Australian gifts — including something very special for Prince Harry.

“That’s going to be for my husband. I just have a feeling,” Meghan said with a laugh, as Sean presented her with a skimpy bikini-style swimsuit, with “Aussie Bum” emblazoned on the back.

“For the love of my life,” the duchess joked. “We might renew our vows with him wearing these.”

Correctly identifying the Aussie slang for the item — “budgie smugglers” — Meghan broke down into another fit of giggles.

“Thank you,” she told Sean and Marley. “This is very meaningful. Thank you.”

In all seriousness, Meghan told Sean and Marley that she was grateful for the chance to meet them and shared her love for their content and message.

“People love you both so much. Your show is amazing because you’re both amazing,” she said. “I’m proud of both of you and I’m so happy and I’m so grateful for all the gifts. You guys keep doing what you’re doing.”

“Your show is awesome and so are you,” she added before the trio shared a group hug.

Sean and Marley weren’t the only cooking show to welcome Meghan during her time Down Under. The Duchess also made a surprise appearance as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, mentoring some of Australia’s top home cooks alongside judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.

“The reaction from the contestants was exactly what we wanted. They were in total shock; everyone’s jaws were on the ground. In their wildest dreams, they would not have expected this, so it was very joyous for us to watch,” Yeow later told 10 News.

“I’m not sure they did keep their composure!” Levin added. “It was a very joyous atmosphere, very excited, lots of hairs standing on end, that sort of thing.”

Yeow said that, as a judge, Meghan made a point to not just focus on the food.

“The Duchess was actually quite clear about wanting to get to know the contestants better, and she said, ‘You know these guys, but I don’t, so I really would like to see some stories and food that’s going to show us their personalities,’ ” she said.

“She’s a home cook and she’s a gardener herself so when you think about it, we’re getting more and more connected to our food… really about getting the best ingredients and putting them into food that does tell their story, as well,” added Levin.
