MISSED IN JUST A FEW SECONDS… — ONE SWEET MOMENT BETWEEN CATHERINE, PRINCESS OF WALES, AND PRINCESS CHARLOTTE AT WIMBLEDON IS MELTING HEARTS ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA

William, Catherine, George and Charlotte all took their places in the Royal Box for Wimbledon this afternoon.

The Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte shared an adorable moment courtside, while Prince George attempted to cool himself down with an electric fan.

As they took their places in the front row of the Royal Box at Centre Court, the Wales family received a standing ovation ahead of the Wimbledon Men’s final.

George, 12, felt the full force of London’s sweltering 29C temperatures, reaching for a white handheld fan to cool himself during the championship match between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.

The future king, who will begin at Eton College in September, wore a navy tailored suit over a light blue shirt, paired with a navy-and-white diagonal-striped tie.

His father, Prince William, 43, opted for a similarly warm outfit of navy suit and brown tie, accessorised with sunglasses.

The rosy-cheeked young prince kept himself hydrated throughout the scorching afternoon alongside his sister Princess Charlotte, 11.

Prince Louis was, yet again, absent. He is yet to make his Wimbledon debut.

A heartwarming moment between mother and daughter captured the spirit of the afternoon as Catherine and Charlotte exchanged beaming smiles in the Royal Box.

The pair were captured looking and smiling at each other in a touching picture.

The Princess of Wales, 44, looked elegant in a pleated green dress, while her daughter appeared composed in a striking blue frock beside her.

Catherine wore her signature Wimbledon bow brooch featuring the tournament’s distinctive colours, having also sported the accessory at yesterday’s Women’s final.

As patron of the All England Club, Catherine will present the trophy to today’s champion.

She entered the court yesterday to hand Linda Nosková the coveted title, after she beat compatriot Karolína Muchová in a dramatic Ladies’ singles final.

The Royal Box boasted an impressive array of Hollywood talent, with legendary actor Dustin Hoffman, 88, seated directly behind the Princess of Wales.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy represented the political sphere among the distinguished guests.

Sinner, 24, mounted a spirited defence of his title against second seed Zverev, 29, in a closely contested affair that required tiebreaks to settle both opening sets.

The German claimed the first set after a tense 9-7 tiebreak, prompting applause from the packed Centre Court crowd.

The Italian world No1 responded emphatically, taking the second set tiebreak 7-2 to level the match.

The third set went to Sinner after a slip from Zverev raised the questions as to whether he had suffered a knee injury and led to a total switch in momentum.

And Sinner saw off Zverev in the fourth set 6-4 to win his second Wimbledon title in a row.

Earlier in the day, Catherine met British wildcard Arthur Fery, who celebrated his 24th birthday after his semi-final run was ended by Zverev on Friday.

The young Briton offered to play tennis with the Wales children and received a card from the princess.
