King Charles and Queen Camilla stepped out for the first of several events honoring the late Queen Elizabeth.

On Monday, April 20, the King and Queen visited the new exhibition Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, which is being held at the King’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace.

Their walk through the exhibit included a stop at Queen Elizabeth’s wedding dress and tiara from her 1947 nuptials to Prince Philip, and the King was also photographed viewing the ensemble his mother wore for the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony in London (displayed alongside her skydiving stunt double’s outfit!).

Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style, which is on view until Oct. 18, is the largest-ever exhibit of the late Queen’s fashion. It features over 300 items from her wardrobe, including pieces like her wedding dress, her coronation ensemble and a collection of rarely-seen tiaras. More than half of the exhibition pieces are on display for the first time.

“It is the most thorough examination of her clothing collection, which I hope will help visitors understand why fashion was so important in the Queen’s role,” Caroline de Guitaut, the curator of the exhibition, previously told PEOPLE.

Following the King and Queen’s visit to the Buckingham Palace style exhibit, the royal couple and other members of the family will visit the British Museum on Tuesday, April, 21, to view the design recommendations for The Queen Elizabeth Memorial, which is set to be built in St. James’ Park. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and other members of the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee will also attend.

On the same day, the King’s sister Princess Anne will open The Queen Elizabeth II Garden in Regent’s Park. The garden is designed as a tranquil and fully accessible space in the heart of London and opens to the public on April 27.

The festivities will then conclude with a reception at Buckingham Palace, also on April 21, hosted by the King, Queen, and other members of the royal family. Guests will include other centenarians celebrating their 100th birthdays.
