Princess Anne was all smiles as she arrived at All Saints’ Church in Kemble to celebrate the marriage of her son Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling. The couple, who stepped out in public for the first time in 2024, are tying the knot today – a second marriage for both Harriet and Anne’s son.

Looking glamorous in yellow, royal fans also spotted that Anne’s hat is a rewear from her daughter’s christening back in 1981. Anne welcomed Zara Tindall with her first husband, Mark Phillips, in May 1981, with her christening taking place just two months later.

One fan took to X, writing: “Wait — it’s the hat she wore for Zara’s christening in 1981!!!”

Another added: “She wore this hat at Zara’s christening.”

Alongside a picture from 1981 and another from today, another account wrote: “45 years after her daughters christening, Princess Anne is rewearing her yellow hat to her sons wedding.”

Taking to X, another wrote: “I thought I recognised the hat. The Princess Royal looks great in yellow and the hat looks as good today as it did at Zara’s christening in 1981.”

Pointing out Anne’s decision to wear yellow, another added: “The Princess Royal is an amazing force. I love everything about her. And yes, she looks lovely in her lemon yellow.”

Peter’s daughters, Isla and Savannah, have acted as Harriet’s bridesmaids, as well as her own daughter, Georgina.

As well as their daughters, guests at the wedding also included the Prince and Princess of Wales and the King and Queen.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie also made a surprise appearance alongside their husbands.
