Police made the tragic discovery following a triple-0 call on Monday night.

A man will face court on three counts of murder after the bodies of two children and a woman were found at a “particularly violent crime scene”.

Police were called to a property on Raymond Ave in the southwestern Sydney suburb of Campbelltown following a triple-0 call from the residence just before 8pm on Monday.

The body of a 46-year-old woman and two young boys, aged 12 and four, were located in separate rooms of the home.

“Whilst I can’t give you specific information in regards to how they passed, what I can tell you is all three persons sustained significant injuries and it was a particularly violent crime scene,” Acting Superintendent Michael Moroney said.

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with three counts of domestic violence murder.

Police believe the man was the woman’s husband and father to the two children, according to ABC.

He is expected to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday.

Police are not currently searching for anyone else and believe “there are no outstanding offenders”.

It is understood the man called triple-0 and requested emergency services attend the home.

“Police have located a number of items inside the premises which would be of interest in regards to the injuries sustained by those people,” he said.

“Until that crime scene is processed, I can’t confirm the exact cause of deaths of those people at this time.”
