Royal bride Harriet Sperling is rocking a new title — her married name!

On June 16, Royal Ascot’s Royal Procession carriage list referred to the royal newlywed by a new name: Mrs. Peter Phillips.

National Health Service nurse Harriet, 45, married Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips in a royal wedding in the Cotswolds on June 6, and she was listed as Mrs. Peter Phillips in Ascot’s official carriage list, publicly using her new moniker for the first time.

Her name badge for the Royal Enclosure at the racecourse also read, “Mrs. Peter Phillips.”

The BBC previously reported that Harriet would go by Mrs. Phillips after her marriage.

Entrepreneur Peter, 48, and Harriet made their newlywed debut on the first day of Royal Ascot at Ascot Racecourse on Tuesday, and the day at the races served as their first royal event after tying the knot less than two weeks ago.

The couple traveled in the second horse-drawn carriage of the Royal Procession behind King Charles and Queen Camilla, where Harriet sat next to her new mother-in-law, Princess Anne, 75. The royal bride also chatted with her new sister-in-law, Zara Tindall, on the sidelines and shared a look of love with Peter in the Royal Box as they sipped drinks.

Peter is the eldest of the late Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren and became the first of his generation to remarry when he wed Harriet. The nuptials came two years after they made their couple debut at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024.

The pair announced their engagement in August 2025, and the marriage is the second for them both. Peter was previously married to Autumn Kelly, with whom he shares daughters Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, while Harriet was previously married to fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling, with whom she shares daughter Georgina, 13.

Peter and Harriet wed in an intimate celebration in the Cotswolds on Saturday, June 6, in an event attended by the King, Queen, Princess Royal, Kate Middleton, Prince William and more members of the royal family.

The bride shimmered in the Pragnell Tiara on the big day, and the couple’s daughters sweetly served as her bridesmaids for the ceremony at their local church, All Saints Church in Kemble.

Harriet and Peter attended Royal Ascot together in 2024 and 2025, and her participation in the Royal Procession there last June sparked speculation that an engagement was imminent.
