Bald eagles and beer once again won over the hearts of American sports fans.

Budweiser’s Super Bowl commercial starring Lincoln, a 28-year-old bald eagle from the American Eagle Foundation in Kodak, Tennessee, topped the USA TODAY Ad Meter, according to the poll results. It was the No. 1 fan favorite commercial.

“American Icons” portrays an unlikely friendship between a bald eagle and a Clydesdale horse, both coming of age.

Around 190,000 people voted in the USA TODAY Ad Meter from Feb. 4 to midnight on Feb. 9, according to USA TODAY. Voters were required to rank 54 Super Bowl ads on a scale from one to five stars.

In the commercial, Lincoln flies above the Clydesdale as it runs below. Lincoln was trained to do these flyovers at the American Eagle Foundation in East Tennessee, operator of the nation’s largest bald eagle sanctuary.

The bald eagle, of course, is the national bird of the United States and an American symbol. Clydesdale horses have long represented the Budweiser beer and Anheuser-Busch brands.
