From polar bears to Clydesdales, these were the highest-rated Super Bowl ads

(CNN) – Budweiser left nothing to chance on Super Bowl Sunday taking home a record 10th first-place finishes in USA Today’s Ad Meter contest.
The King of Beers topped this year’s rankings with this 60-second spot, called “American Icons.” The commercial easily outpaced Lay’s in voting that wrapped up hours after the game ended.
The ad marked Budweiser’s 150th anniversary while tying it to America’s upcoming 250th, with the Clydesdale front and center.
The story follows the rescue and rise of a bald eagle set to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird,” a song executives said was the only choice.
Budweiser’s ad beat out Lay’s, Pepsi, Dunkin’ and Michelob Ultra to reclaim the top spot.
