Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will bring their two children to the UK next month, and it is understood the King helped facilitate the visit.

King Charles offered to help cover the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s security arrangements when they return to the UK next month, it is claimed. Prince Harry has long decried the decision to downgrade his security after he quit as a senior working royal in 2020 and moved to the US with his family.
In May, the King’s youngest son lost a legal case to have his police protection reinstated when he visits the UK. In a BBC interview after the ruling, Harry said that the outcome meant it was not safe to bring his family back to the UK because he couldn’t guarantee their safety.
However, the monarch is said to have intervened and offered his own resources to ensure the safety of the family of four when they return to Britain next month, according to the Sun.
In December, it was claimed that Harry’s access to security when he visits the UK was under review. But no change to the arrangements have been publicly announced.
A government spokesperson said: “The UK government’s protective security system is rigorous and proportionate.
“It is our long-standing policy not to provide detailed information on those arrangements, as doing so could compromise their integrity and affect individuals’ security.”
While Harry has made solo trips to the UK several times in the past few years, Meghan has remained firmly on US soil. And their two children haven’t visited for four years, as they last came over for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the summer of 2022.
But he has spoken about his desire to bring his two children back to his country of birth and to make amends with his family.
It is not yet clear whether Harry and his family will meet with the King when they are in the UK.
