Meghan Markle’s upcoming product launch has left fans in tears of laughter as the Duchess teased her next big move this week. The Duchess of Sussex took to her brand, As Ever’s, official Instagram account on Wednesday, to tease a major new launch taking place today.
In a picture shared on the brand’s page, an As Ever candle can be seen resting on what appears to be a mantelpiece, alongside a vase filled with flowers and a teapot. But the candle is not the only As Ever product in the picture; a brand-new matchbox is laid right beside it.
The matchbox bears the As Ever logo and is thought to be the next product released on the website, with the message accompanying the picture reading: “A small spark, arriving tomorrow [candle emoji].”
Royal fans took the hint; however, several remained unimpressed with the latest luxury launch.
One user wrote on X: “Is this parody? Please tell me this is a joke.” Another one added: “Matches for the love of God! Is this the best she can come with in her product line, yes very inventive and original.”
A third person opined: “I don’t understand her product lines. They’re not cohesive, don’t flow, don’t tell a story.”
“Branded matches from a candle making company is not new or unexpected. It’s just part of the product line extension.”
Meanwhile, another one said: “YAYYY we’re getting #AsEver matchboxes tomorrow!”
The price for As Ever’s new product is not yet known.
