A man has been found dead after a house fire in Sydney’s southwest.
Emergency services were called following reports of a blaze in the garage of a home on Gardenia Ave in Bankstown about 4.45pm on Sunday.
The flames were extinguished before the body of a man, who is yet to be identified but believed to have been aged in his 60s, was found inside.
A crime scene has been established and, while investigations are ongoing, at this stage police believe there are no suspicious circumstances.
