🚨 A Woman Was Found Sh0t De-ad Inside A Louisiana Home — One Chil-ling Detail Has Investigators Racing For Answers
GEISMAR, La. (WAFB) – Detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office have obtained an arrest warrant for a Geismar man wanted in connection with a homicide investigation, Sheriff Bobby Webre said.

Marquell Green, 21, is wanted for second-degree murder.
Deputies responded to a home on Kerry Road in Geismar around 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, after receiving a report of a shooting. When they arrived, deputies found an adult woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the investigation, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit identified Green as the suspect. Authorities said Green left the area before deputies arrived and remains at large.
