Updated on the Condition of the Two People Injured Following the Building Collapse in Central Sydney

Two people are in a serious condition in hospital after a building collapsed in inner Sydney.

Emergency services were called to a building on Wattle Street in Ultimo just before 11am on Monday after reports the back of a building behind a Shell service station had collapsed.

Seven patients were assessed at the scene by paramedics, two of whom – one man in his 60s and another in his 30s – were taken to hospital in a serious condition, Ambulance NSW told nine.com.au.

The patients were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital.
