King Charles’s Latest Move to Protect the Son He Once Loved Dearly — William and Harry Are Now Standing on the Thinnest of Lines
King Charles and Prince William are reportedly scheduled to sit down to talk about Prince Harry and how he fits into the Royal Family.
Rather than a casual chat over tea, it’s predicted to be conducted more like a board meeting to discuss what a royal return for Harry would look like.
We spoke to Ian Pelham Turner, British broadcaster, who said there’s been “a big push” to make this happen with Charles leading the march.
“There is a big push to allow Harry, Meghan and family to find a level acceptable of royal invention,” said Pelham Turner.
“It is well known that Harry and Meghan still wish to play a significant part in supporting charities in Britain and gradually obstacles are being removed either through desire or retirement of officials so that a half in half out option Harry had asked for could be a solution to this ongoing saga,” he explained.

When it come to William, he has been dragging his feet, and in some cases, actually refusing to be in the same room as his younger brother, for example, conveniently being out of the country when Harry makes a visit.
With that said, Charles has had enough, says the British broadcaster, that he is pulling rank with William and insisting that he get with the program.
“It is widely reported of clashes between William and Charles in recent times within in the end the King using his ultimate authority and reminding William of his place in the royal pecking order,” according to Pelham Turner.
“In fact ordering him to attend certain events in his place,” said Pelham Turner, which may include the upcoming secret summit and to “let it go,” referring to the grudge he is holding against his little brother.
For Charles, having a unified family is what comes first, but for William, it’s his ego.
William is holding on so tight, that he is actually causing more pain for the people around him with Pelham Turner explaining why that it is — it’s inherited.
Pelham Turner hits the nail on the head, explaining why this feud has gone on so long, and why Charle does need to step in: ”I feel, in reality, that both William and Harry have adopted a seemingly hot temper from their father, King Charles. Whenever emotions run high, this side of both their temperaments prevails.”
When it comes to Harry, who is at the center of the secret summit, he has been adamant about reconciling with his family, meeting with Charles semi-regularly over the past year and half. And it seems like he is making some headway, according to Pelham Turner, who mapped it out for us.
The British broadcaster, who knows his way around the Palace, talked us through what’s been going on behind closed doors.

According to Brittani Barger, co-founder of Royal News, it’s not going to be one and done, the conversations will go beyond the upcoming talk between the monarch and heir apparent, but it seems like they are rounding a corner.
Barger said: “Since Harry was recently in the U.K., I’m not shocked to hear that the King and Prince of Wales may be having another meeting to discuss Harry and any future role.”
She added: “It may take a lot of discussions and negotiations, but I think the King and Prince William can come to some sort of agreement. It may take some time and patience to get to that point.”
“There have been rumors that Harry wants to return to the U.K., and I think there would have to be discussions — if that happens — on what that would look like.”
