Elizabeth Siders, the mother at the center of Ohio’s “house of horrors” case, gave birth to four sets of twins over a three-year period, between February 2022 and January 2025, among her 16 children.
Public records and amended court complaints obtained by People Magazine reveal that Siders’ last four pregnancies all produced twins, and questions remain surrounding yet another pregnancy.
In February 2022, she delivered her first set of twins, two of the 16 children who were later rescued. Later that same year in November, she gave birth to conjoined twin girls who died shortly after.
A third set of twins arrived in January 2024, among the surviving rescued children, and a fourth set was born in January 2025, just before her arrest. Meanwhile, a former FBI agent has come forward to highlight the alarming red flags that went undetected.
On June 30, Gary Siders Sr., 73; Christina Siders, 66; Gary Siders Jr, 36; and Elizabeth Siders, 33, were taken into custody on child endangerment charges, all of which they have denied.

Authorities stated that the children, ranging in age from 18 months to 18 years old, “looked like feral animals” upon being taken into care.

Gary Siders Jr. , believed to be the father of the children, was employed as a DoorDash delivery driver, according to NewsNation.
“Only the grandparents were being supported by the state. I don’t think that Gary Siders was even working, but if he was working, he was working as a DoorDash driver or delivery driver,” said Lauren Conlin, an independent crime and entertainment reporter, during an appearance on Chris Cuomo’s podcast, Cuomo Crime Time.
The 16 children were allegedly confined for years in a 12-by-12-foot room and were never enrolled in school. While the grandparents reportedly received state assistance, the county prosecutor revealed the children had no school or medical records on file.
Last week, Ohio legislators approved $1 million in emergency funding to assist in caring for the children. The Ohio Controlling Board authorized funds to cover associated costs, including court proceedings and law enforcement overtime, as the children are set to be placed in foster care, according to WCMH.
Ronnie Fletcher, an uncle to the children, claimed he was entirely unaware of the living conditions that authorities have described as “deplorable conditions.”
He went on to explain that both he and his wife are now too apprehensive to report to work, fearing the situation could severely damage the business venture he had been striving to build.
“All this is taking money off our table because we can’t live our normal lives because the way these people are trying to treat us on something we didn’t have nothing to do with,” he said. “How am I supposed to start a business in this community when I’m being stapled to the face of ‘pure evil?'”
Fletcher, who is married to a daughter of suspects Gary Siders Sr. and Christina ‘Lynn’ Siders, told WOWK-TV: “What can I do to help? — That was the original reaction to it.”
“Horrified. Worried about the kids. It’s hard to explain the action when you’re distant family.”
The remarks come as disturbing jail footage of the mother-of-16 following her arrest has been made public.
