Man Wanted for First-Degree Mu-r-der in Roc-kford Captured by Police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Synakhone “Sid” Pannha, 46, who is wanted by the Rockford Police Department on a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of a man found on 7th Avenue, was arrested Thursday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rockford Police said.
According to police, on Friday, July 10, officers responded around 5:20 a.m. to the 700 block of 7th Avenue for a welfare check after a man was reported lying in bushes near a residence.
The man was later identified as 43-year-old Nathanael Fansler. Officers found him dead at the scene, and the Winnebago County Coroner determined he died from a gunshot wound.
Investigators later identified Pannha as a suspect and charged him with first-degree murder.
Police said Pannha was located and arrested Thursday in Milwaukee. He is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail.
