A MORNING COMMUTE TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE..! – MAN FATALLY SH0T INSIDE A CAR DURING SYDNEY RUSH HOUR AS POLICE LAUNCH URGENT HUNT FOR THE K!LLER.
A man has died after he was shot multiple times in Sydney‘s north-west during the morning peak hour.
Emergency services were called to North Rocks Road in Carlingford just after 7am on Wednesday after a member of the public found the man inside a car.
On arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with significant injuries. He was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Acting Superintendent Michael Marinello said homicide squad detectives are now investigating after the man suffered a ‘number of gunshot wounds’.
‘We do not believe this is a random attack. We believe that this is an isolated incident,’ he said.
Acting Supt Marinello confirmed the victim was known to police.
A number of witnesses are assisting police with their inquiries.
