In what has quickly become one of the most divisive nights of the current Love Island series, bombshell Tommy has found himself at the centre of a storm after pursuing three different women in a single day, securing two kisses and being firmly rejected by the third.

Sunday night’s episode on ITV2 showcased the rapid formation of multiple love triangles — and at least one love square — as the new arrival wasted little time making his presence felt in the villa.

Tommy began his evening by pulling Ellie for a chat by the mini fire pit. The conversation quickly turned flirty, culminating in a steamy snog that caught the attention of the other islanders. Undeterred by the public display, the pair shared a second kiss shortly afterwards.

The moves came despite Tommy having earlier confided in the boys that he fancied Priya the most. Later in the day, he attempted to act on that interest, pulling Priya for a chat and trying to kiss her. Priya, however, turned him down, citing his earlier kiss with Ellie.

Refusing to slow down, Tommy set his sights on Namibia in the evening. He pulled her for a private conversation on the terrace, explaining that now was the time to explore all options rather than committing too quickly. The chat ended with the pair sharing a willing snog.

The fallout was swift. Priya later pulled Ellie for a chat to reveal Tommy’s earlier comments, leaving Ellie visibly annoyed. A first look at Monday night’s episode suggests her frustration is set to boil over, with scenes of her confronting the situation and calling out liars.

Love Island fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their disapproval, with many describing Tommy’s behaviour as “icky” and overly aggressive.

One viewer wrote: “Tommy calm down. He said he finds Priya attractive then Ellie, And going for a kiss with her, Now kissing Namibia. Man gone evil. I feel bad for Ellie.”

Another commented: “Nah Tommy is an absolute w**** I can’t with him.”

A third added: “Why does Tommy constantly pull people in? It’s kinda crazy idk it’s icky.”

And a fourth summed up the sentiment: “Who the f*** does Tommy think he is?? Actually icky as f***.”

While grafting is par for the course on Love Island, Tommy’s rapid-fire approach within 24 hours of entering the villa has clearly crossed a line for many viewers. His actions have highlighted the chaotic dynamics that often emerge when a bombshell arrives, forcing existing connections to be tested and new rivalries to form almost instantly.

As the villa continues to heat up, all eyes will be on how Ellie, Priya, and Namibia respond — and whether Tommy’s whirlwind strategy will backfire spectacularly in the coming episodes.
