A teenager has been stabbed during a group brawl outside a Sydney primary school, with police now investigating.
A teenager has been stabbed during a group brawl outside a primary school in Sydney.
The 17-year-old female has been taken to hospital in a stable condition, and police suspect at least six people were involved in the brawl.
The brawl broke out near Blacktown West Public School – which accommodates for grades from kindergarten to year six – about 2.30pm on Friday.
A spokeswoman for the school told NewsWire staff had been told not to comment.
Police said the girl who was stabbed was not “affiliated with the school” and that everyone else involved fled the scene before police arrived.

Paramedics treated a 17-year-old female with multiple stab wounds who was then taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have been told about six people were involved in the brawl, the spokesperson said.
“After being stabbed the girl entered the school grounds to seek assistance.
“The girl is not believed to be affiliated with the school.
