THF Bayzoo, an affiliate of Lil Durk and late rapper King Von, was killed in Chicago over the weekend, the Chicago Tribune reports.T

The Chicago rapper, born Devonshe Collier, was among three individuals shot in the city’s Little Village area on Saturday (October 25) afternoon. At the time of the incident, a car occupant in a parking lot shot at three men on the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue around 3 p.m.

Bayzoo, also known as THF Zoo, who signed to Durk’s record label Only the Family (OTF) in 2018, was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday morning. While the other two shooting victims, ages 39 and 42, respectively, are in fair condition, no arrests have been made.

Among those who mourned the news were fellow OTF artist Doodie Lo, 21 Savage and incarcerated rapper RondoNumba9.

During his life, Bayzoo repeatedly spent time in jail. In 2014, per the Chicago Tribune, he was charged with the murder of 21-year-old Dominic Barnes. Bayzoo was acquitted three years later.

Bayzoo becomes the fourth person on the OTF roster to be fatally shot, following King Von, OTF Nunu, and LA Capone. Multiple artists on the label are incarcerated, including founder Lil Durk, who is awaiting his murder-for-hire trial, scheduled to begin in January 2026.

Although Bayzoo did not release an album in his lifetime, the late artist had a number of solo singles and collaborations with fellow label mates, including 2018 King Von collaboration “Beat Dat Body.” The rapper was also featured on OTF compilation albums, the latest being 2023 LP Nightmares in the Trenches.
