Latest Update: Arrest Made After Shocking Sydney Attack Leaves Father-of-Three Unconscious
A man has been arrested following an alleged attack on an elderly who was out for his morning walk in Sydney’s south-west.
Police issued a warrant on Sunday for the arrest of Corum Ash, 45, for attempted murder, as the 74-year-old man fought for his life in hospital.

The father-of-three was out for his morning walk when he was allegedly set upon and knocked unconscious in Yennora on Saturday. He was found on Orchardleigh Street about 4.40am.
He underwent surgery for head injuries and was in a critical but stable condition on Saturday with his wife and children by his side.
Police confirmed a 45-year-old man had been arrested in Carlingford about 8.30pm on Monday and taken to Parramatta police station, where inquiries were continuing.
Investigators said they’d still been unable to speak with the alleged victim.
