Robert Irwin is already missing the ballroom.

The wildlife conservationist, 21, took home the Mirrorball Trophy and won season 34 of Dancing with the Stars with his partner Witney Carson on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and has been reflecting on his experience in the days since.

On Thursday, Nov. 27, Robert shared side-by-side photos from 2015 of him holding his sister Bindi Irwin’s Mirrorball Trophy — she won season 21 with partner Derek Hough — and him holding the trophy as he won this season, as well as a side-by-side of him and Carson celebrating their win alongside Bindi and Hough celebrating theirs.

“10 years later,” he captioned the post, which also included a photo of him and Bindi holding the trophies with their mom, Terri Irwin. “Thanks for being my inspiration to take this leap, @bindisueirwin – love you.”

In another post, shared hours later on Thursday, Robert shared 18 more photos, including several behind-the-scenes shots from rehearsals, with both Carson, 32, and other season 34 stars, plus moments from after their finale win.

“I miss this already,” he wrote in the caption.

His partner was on the same page. “I miss you so much if you don’t already know from my texts,” Carson wrote in the comments.

Moments after they were announced as the winners, Robert spoke to PEOPLE about how it felt to hold the trophy 10 years after his sister did the same.

“To follow in those footsteps and to do the same has meant everything to me,” he said. “This has absolutely changed my life.”

“For Bindi, she was here to represent what our family’s all about. Our work at Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors, our charity, it’s the biggest wildlife hospital in the world,” he continued.

“It’s conservation on the front line. It’s about making the world a better place. And when I watched her lift that Mirrorball, I saw her lifting that message.”

He also expressed his gratitude for Carson, who he said “pours her heart and soul into this.”

“I’m just so grateful that I was here on this journey with Witney. You’ve got me forever,” he said of his partner.

The pro echoed her partner, as she told PEOPLE that she “can’t think of anyone more deserving” of the win than Robert.

“I feel like I’ve been so proud of you week to week,” she said. “And just to see you shine has been one of my biggest highlights in my life, and I just am so, so proud of you.”
